Chalet Diamant, Zermatt

There are five bedrooms, each with a double bed, a private bathroom, a television, Wi-Fi and its own balcony. Three are on the second floor and two on the third. One of the third-floor rooms has a mezzanine with an extra bed, which suits a child. A lift runs from the small entrance hall to every level. The main living space sits under the roof. The gable is left open to the rafters, which gives the kitchen, dining table and lounge a height and airiness you rarely find in a chalet. A corner sofa faces the wood-burning fireplace, and in the evenings that is where everyone ends up. The wellness area is also in the attic, with a sauna and a jacuzzi that can be used indoors or opened to the sky. The rooftop jacuzzi is the chalet's best feature. It is a quiet place to watch the light change on the mountain. an the entrance level you will find a television room, a fitness room, a separate toilet with shower, and a ski room with boot warmers. A discreet staff area on the same floor keeps the running of the house out of sight.
