The Space

Le Buisson is your quintessential French Mas, ready to fulfil your dreams of days in Provence; Built in 1805 in the heart of the Luberon Valley, its history and that of the famed South of France, will delight you. It has been restored to perfection for today’s good life and is a picture-perfect spot to convene with family and /or friends. Think Lavender fields, Rosé wine, French art, history, culture, and natural beauty of hills, fields, and historic monuments to the past. The surrounding countryside adds to the farmhouse’s charm and character to make this a perfect French holiday setting.

Six spacious and comfortable suites will delight every guest. Each suite offers its own ensuite bathroom, 5 with showers, one with bathtub. There are four suites in the main house and two more in the annex, formerly the stables, located in the garden behind the house. Beautiful gardens surround this substantial stone house Lavender, jasmine and olive trees confirm that this is Provence. A heated pool caps off the setting. It’s a short walk to Goult one of the loveliest villages in the region with a lively bar and fine restaurants, shops, boulangeries, etc.  

On offer in addition to the bedrooms, there is a modern kitchen, with a large American-style fridge as well as a wine fridge, dishwasher and microwave.  There is also a central breakfast bar that seats 4 on stools (with USB sockets underneath) and a lovely little alcove for two. There is a laundry room which has another large fridge, a second dishwasher, 2 washing machines and a dryer. A wine cave backs onto the laundry room and keeps a collection of wines which guests are welcome to dip into but must replace with similar types of wine.

The “Front room”/Dining room has a TV, an Xbox (with FIFA 16) and a selection of DVD’s (mainly PG’s & 12’s with the odd 15) which you can play using the Xbox.  The dining area has a dining table seating 10 comfortably. An extra chair can be added at either end to seat 12.  A table and 4 chairs in the main entrance area which can be used for seating larger numbers. But, in summer outside dining is the dining venue of choice, either under the lovely plane tree, or at the BBQ area at the back where there is plenty of seating room.

There is a table tennis room in a beautiful, vaulted room. There is comfortable seating around the edges and another TV. This has been the kids and teenagers favorite hangout over the years when indoors.

 You will find further seating area in the living room with fireplace. Then opposite the main entrance is a Storeroom /sports room, with sports equipment which you are welcome to borrow including footballs, basketballs, a boules set, tennis rackets, tennis balls, badminton rackets and shuttlecocks

Getting Around

The farmhouse is about 45 minutes from Avignon TGV heading east and just less than an hour from Marseille airport.
