* Our indulgent 10 weeks tour of Italy has started perfectly with 2 weeks in Sermoneta - a great base to explore Lazio. Your compendium on the history and areas of interest was indispensable, as were the recommendations on restaurants. We've made he move from the fast lane to the s;ow lane, so have enjoyed lazy mornings, lazy afternoons, smelling the jasmine, enjoying your stories and the sights and sounds of the village. * This lovely house is situated high up in the most beautiful medieval village we've ever been to. The house itself is very well appointed and is situated in a lovely garden, complete with hammock and falling lemons! It's lovely to dip in the pool after a day's walking around Rome which is only half a hour by train from the nearby station. Stunning village with stunning views to the plains below. * It was a pleasure staying in Domus Doull. The accommodations were great.Sermoneta was a wonderful town to visit. We enjoyed several restaurants and many a caffe in the piazza. The Sant Giuseppe festa made a perfect ending for our stay. * This house is amazing, the location is out of this world, the village and its setting make it unique. We stayed here with our 2 teenage children in August. We had the best holiday ever, the easy access to the train station and toll road made trips to Rome and Naples day trips.The house is 5 star, and the pool with its view magical.The owners are really helpful. - S.
